Choices
Dan and Donna are long-time
residents of Port Hardy and have extensive knowledge
regarding Vancouver Island and the Port Hardy area.
In 2008 they purchased a 15 acre parcel of land
overlooking Hardy Bay with the ideas of building an
environmentally friendly resort. Now they want to share it
with all those who appreciate the wonderful nature that
abounds here.
Ecoscape Cabins are built with the environment in mind. All
exterior Western Red Cedar has been salvaged and milled
locally by Dan and Donna. All interior wood work is
salvaged Fir, rescued from a burn pile. Each cabin has a
low flush toilet, low E windows and shower floors made
from natural river rock. Rugs and blinds are made from
renewable bamboo. Coming in 2010, sheets and towels will be
wind-dried (weather permitting).
